Welcome to the Westmount Youth Orchestra. An orchestra is nothing but the sum of the energies, skills, and devotion of its members. Every note, articulation, and pencil-mark, every carpool, ticket sold, and decision made is part of a team effort. Each musician depends on all the others to create a full and beautiful sound, that unique color and presence that is the hallmark of an orchestra. Like any other team effort, all positions must be filled with committed people to ensure success. The WYO has been fortunate over the years to attract dedicated musicians and their families who have made this organization a success as well as a fun and exciting place to work and participate.
