Westmount String Ensemble

The WSE is the junior string ensemble of the Westmount Youth Orchestra for ages 5 through 12, and is led by Jean MacRae. The goal of the Ensemble is to give young musicians of all levels the opportunity to play and enjoy making music together. The repertoire is carefully chosen and arranged so that all levels may participate; no matter what the student’s abilities, he or she will be included, encouraged, challenged, and will discover the fun of learning to play together. Fees are $165 per session, music is provided, and we ask that all students bring a music stand. The Ensemble meets Saturday mornings between 11:15 and 12:45 at Victoria Hall, 4626 Sherbrooke St. West.
